Agriculture is a major driving force in the world economy. Agricultural Economics examines the use of available resources from farm to fork to meet the needs and desires of present and future generations. Sustainability, food security, food safety, environmental quality, agricultural policy reform and rural community development are typical issues that agricultural economists study in an international context.
